Karl-Heinz Schramm

Karl-Heinz Schramm (born May 17, 1935 in Magdeburg ; † March 5, 2015 ) was a German lawyer with a doctorate and a judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Career

Schramm was accepted into the Bavarian judicial service in the same year following his legal training, which he completed with the second state examination in 1964 after studying law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and completing his legal traineeship in Munich. He worked in the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice and in the public prosecutor's office before he was given his first judicial post in 1968 as a local judge at the Munich district court . From 1970 to 1988 he worked again in the State Ministry of Justice - interrupted by a one year activity as presiding judge of a chamber for commercial matters at the District Court of Munich I - from June 1975 as an advisor in the budget department, initially as a ministerial advisor , from July 1985 as a senior ministerial advisor . In February 1988 he was appointed judge at the Bavarian Supreme Court . He was appointed judge at the Federal Court of Justice in July 1988. It belonged to the then newly formed XI responsible for banking law . Civil Division , whose jurisdiction he has co-created by the very first days.

Publications

Scientifically, Schramm u. a. emerged through his comment on §§ 164 to 185 BGB (representation, power of attorney, consent, approval) in the Munich Commentary on the Civil Code, which he took over with the 3rd edition of the work, furthermore through his contribution to the "power of representation and disposal over the account ”in the banking law handbook (edited by Herbert Schimansky / Hermann-Josef Bunte / Hans-Jürgen Lwowski).
