Andreas Dury

Andreas Dury (* 1961 in Penzberg ) is a German writer .

Life

Dury was born in 1961 in Penzberg, Upper Bavaria , and grew up in Dahn, Palatinate . He studied philosophy , history and German in Tübingen , Munich and Berlin . He then completed an apprenticeship as a programmer . Between 1987 and 1991 Dury was a temporary editor at MINERVA - the magazine for self-defense and philosophy . In 1999 he published his literary debut ... when I came to the city and was awarded the Georg K. Glaser Prize for the story contained therein, Grünmann, the Metropolitan Subject .

From 2001 to 2014 Dury was co-editor of the literary magazine STRECKENLÆUFER . Since 2001 he has been a board member of the Saarland regional association of the Association of German Writers .
