Karl-Hermann Körner

Karl-Hermann Körner (* 1941 in Rothkosteletz ; † 1992 in Braunschweig ) was a German Romanist .

life and work

Körner did his doctorate in Hamburg with Hans Bottle on the "action group finite verb + infinitive" in the Spanish system of forms. Preliminary study for a study of the language Pedro Calderón de la Barcas (Hamburg 1968) and went to Bordeaux as a lecturer for three years. He then became professor of Romance philology at the Technical University of Braunschweig . Körner was co-editor of three commemorative publications for his teacher Hans Bottle (1973, 1983, 1991) and one commemorative publication for Gustav Ineichen (1989). Since 1990 he has been a full member of the Braunschweig Scientific Society .
