Karl Asmus Bachmann

Karl Asmus Bachmann (born December 28, 1842 in Tondern , Duchy of Schleswig , † June 28, 1916 ) was a German judge and member of parliament.

Life

Bachmann studied law from 1862 at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel . In 1865 he was reciprocated in the Corps Saxonia Kiel , which had only recovered from the consequences of the Schleswig-Holstein uprising in 1864 . He distinguished himself once as a sub- senior and consenior and twice as a senior . As an inactive , he moved to the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . After completing his studies (1867), he started a career as a judge. He became a magistrate in Toftlund and Sonderburg . From 1879 he was a district judge in Hadersleben. For the constituency of Schleswig-Holstein 4 (Tondern) he sat in the Prussian House of Representatives from 1894 to 1908 . He belonged to the faction of the National Liberal Party . He died as a go. Judiciary at the age of 73.
