Karl August Friedrich Brückner

Karl August Friedrich Brückner (born May 2, 1803 in Volkenroda , † January 21, 1853 in Schweidnitz ) was a German educator and historian .

Life

Karl August Friedrich Brückner was born on May 2, 1803 in Volkenroda. He attended a grammar school in Gotha , where he completed his Matura , and from 1822 he studied philology at the universities of Jena and Göttingen . In 1826 he attended the Philological Seminary in Breslau , in order to become a teacher at a grammar school in Schweidnitz the next year . He finally died as Vice Rector of the school on January 21, 1853.
