Karl August Friedrich Glocker

Karl August Friedrich Glocker (* 10. September 1768 in Stuttgart , † 17th October 1848 in Ellwangen ) was württembergischer bailiff and later Governing Council of the Jagst circle .

The son of a Rentkammerexpeditionsrat studied law at the Hohen Karlsschule from 1786 to 1789 and at the University of Göttingen from 1789 to 1791 . After completing his studies, he traveled extensively to Holland and Italy before he became a lawyer in 1794 . In 1795 he came to the Oberamt Bönnigheim as an official administrator , which he headed from 1803 as an Oberamtmann . In 1806 he was appointed to the government council and came to the Oberamt Ludwigsburg as Oberamt , in 1813 to the Oberamt Rottweil and in 1815 to the Oberamt Heilbronn . In 1819 he was suspended from office for various misconduct. In Heilbronn, meanwhile, he was followed as administrative administrator Christian Friedrich Reuss until the allegations against Glockner were settled in court in 1822 and Glockner was downgraded in civil service. In 1822 he became the registrar of the government of the Jagstkreis , was promoted to its college in 1830 and was reappointed to the government council in 1838. In 1843 he took his retirement.

Since 1812 he had been awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Civil Merit .
