Karl Boesing

Karl Boesing (* May 17, 1930 - June 5, 2013 ) was a German official veterinarian and association official. For many years he was head of the veterinary department of the Borken district.

Life

After graduating from high school, Karl Boesing studied veterinary medicine . With the dissertation The effect of different sympatholytics on the guinea -filled bubble he was in 1957 at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover to Dr. med. vet. PhD . In 1965 he joined the Borken district as an official veterinarian and head of the veterinary office . When in the course of municipal restructuring the Veterinary Department was established, he became its director appointed . He retired in 1995 as chief district veterinary director. Karl Boesing made his professional commitment known nationwide in specialist circles. From 1978 to 2002 he was President of the Veterinary Chamber of Westphalia-Lippe and from 1996 to 1999 he was also the first Vice-President of the Federal Chamber of Veterinarians . He was also chairman of the state association of civil servants in the Münster administrative district . In addition, Boesing was one of the founding members of the Borken Lions Club in 1971 . Through this, the Lions friend was also involved in founding a Dutch Jumelageclub . Senior District Veterinary Director a. D. Dr. med. vet. Karl Boesing died at the age of 83. He found his final resting place in the Borken cemetery in Butenwall.
