Karl Brunner (born August 19, 1862 in Gudensberg , † February 23, 1945 in Meiningen ) was a German local politician .

Life

In 1893 he became city counsel for Kassel and in 1898 a city ​​councilor . Under the Lord Mayors Erich Koch-Weser and Philipp Scheidemann , he was mayor of Kassel from 1914 to 1926 , in particular for the financial administration.

The historian Hugo Brunner was his uncle.
