Karl Christian Lammers

Karl Christian Lammers (born 1943 ) is a Danish modern historian .

Life

Karl Christian Lammers attended school in Sønderborg . He studied German and History at the University of Copenhagen . After completing his master's degree , he worked as a tutor at the University's Institute for Contemporary History from 1969. In 1975 he became a lecturer there . In 1994 he was invited to Kiel as a visiting professor , and in 1999 to Tübingen. From 1992 to 2007 Lammers was co-editor of the journal Contemporary European History, which was initially published in London . In 2013 he retired.
