Karl Ferrari

Karl Ferrari (born May 31, 1934 in Salurn ) is a South Tyrolean lawyer and politician.

Ferrari studied law at the Universities of Padua and Rome and, on a Fulbright scholarship , from Southern Methodist University . He then worked from 1960 to 2000 for the electricity company Etschwerke , among other things as head of the secretarial staff, as a lawyer and most recently as general director. From 1972 to 1993 he was the first president of the South Tyrolean Housing Institute (WOBI). During the two short legislative periods 1992–1994 and 1994–1996, the member of the workers' wing in the South Tyrolean People's Party and the Bolzano local committee was a senator in the Italian parliament . After his involvement with the Etschwerke ended , Ferrari took over the management of the Association of Service Companies in Trentino-South Tyrol . He is also a member of the supervisory board of SAD Nahverkehr .
