Karl Friedrich Emil Bönisch (born February 27, 1832 in Neukirch (near Königsbrück) , † November 9, 1894 in Dresden ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born as the son of a church school teacher, Bönisch studied law in Leipzig after attending grammar school in Bautzen . During his studies in 1850 he became a member of the Violetta Leipzig fraternity . From 1856 he worked in the municipal administration and was legal actuary in Chemnitz until 1863 , paid councilor until 1871 and then paid city ​​councilor in Dresden until 1885 , where he subsequently became second mayor and administered the tax office. From 1875 to 1894 he was a member of the German Progressive Party (DFP) in the Second Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament . In 1894 he retired.

The Bönischplatz in Johannstadt was named after him. He was buried in the Trinity Cemetery.
