Life

Troll was the son of the princely Löwenstein wine cellar manager Johann Michael Troll († 1834). When the town of Löwenstein, schultheiß, moved to Boll as an official notary in 1826 , Troll succeeded him in office. Troll, who was married and had children, remained at the city school until his death in 1868.

In 1851 Troll ran for the Chamber of Deputies of the Württemberg Land estates in the Weinsberg constituency and was able to clearly prevail against the Weinsberg city school leader Franz Fraas , who had represented the Weinsberg constituency in three extraordinary Württemberg state parliaments in 1849/50 , which revised the Württemberg constitution of 1819 or through a should replace new constitution. In the elections in 1856 and 1862 Troll was confirmed, in 1862 against Karl Lautenschlager .

Troll belonged to various commissions in the state parliament. In the chamber he campaigned to bring the new Kocherbahn from Heilbronn to Hall closer to Löwenstein, but could not get through because the city was too unfavorable for that.
