Karl Güldenapfel

Karl Alfred Güldenapfel (born July 18, 1859 in Vieselbach , † October 8, 1944 in Eisenach ) was an Evangelical Lutheran pastor in Jechaburg and Stockhausen .

childhood and education

Karl Güldenapfel was born in 1859 as the son of the accesist and registrar Wolfgang Ernst Friedrich and his wife Mathilde (née Sieckel).

He attended school from 1865 in Jena and from 1874 to 1878 in Weimar . He then studied in Jena from 1878 to 1881 and in the meantime served in the military for a year. He completed his first exam in Sondershausen in 1882 and the second in 1883.

Professional career and work

Güldenapfel was ordained as parish vicar in Jechaburg in 1883 and was appointed pastor there in 1885. In 1920 he was appointed regional pastor of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen , and in 1921 he became a part-time member of the regional church council. From July 1, 1921, he worked as a pastor in Stockhausen. In 1927 he retired.

In the course of his professional life he published the " Directory of Protestant Church Books of Thuringia ".

family

On April 16, 1884, in Jena, he married Hermine Therese Agnes Knoll (* 1857), the daughter of the Grand Ducal Economics Inspector Richard from Jena and his wife Friedericke (née Grell). The children of the two cannot be identified. Presumably the marriage remained childless.
