Karl Haberl
Karl Haberl (born January 22, 1833 in Vienna , † November 20, 1908 in Wiener Neustadt ) was a Lower Austrian local politician, mayor of Wiener Neustadt and deputy land marshal.
Haberl studied law at the University of Vienna , was awarded a Dr. jur. doctorate and from 1868 was court attorney. From 1892 he was a committee member of the Chamber of Lawyers and four times Vice Mayor of Wiener Neustadt. In 1886 he was elected mayor after the death of his predecessor Josef Pöck. He resigned from office in 1897 before an election and Franz Kammann succeeded him as mayor. In the same period (1886 to 1896) he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament . From 1894 to 1896 he was also Deputy Land Marshal.
