Karl Heinrich Wilhelm von Dieskau , since 1853 Baron von Dieskau , (born October 26, 1797 in Danzig , † December 26, 1857 in Brussels ) was a Belgian Major General of German descent and Knight of Honor of the Order of St. John .
Life
A genealogical connection with the Saxon noble family von Dieskau could not be established in the past, but only assumed based on the origin and the coat of arms.
Karl Heinrich Wilhelm von Dieskau was by Prince Heinrich LXII. von Reuss-Schleiz was raised to the baron status on February 12, 1853. His son, Oskar Karl Heinrich Freiherr von Dieskau (* 1840), who was born in Brussels, received permission to run the barons in the Kingdom of Prussia on February 13, 1864 in Berlin .
