Karl Heinrich von Morstein

Karl Heinrich von Morstein (born December 16, 1758 , † November 1, 1842 in Kowahlen ) was a German nobleman and district administrator in the Oletzko district .

Life

Von Morstein came from the von Morstein family . On January 4, 1791, he married Friederike Henriette von Buddenbrock's first marriage and, in 1799, his second marriage, Johanna Karolina von Maltitz. She was the sister of the poet Gotthilf August von Maltitz . In Königsberg he married his sister-in-law Juliane Auguste von Maltitz on October 12, 1813. With his third wife he had two daughters, Veronica von Morstein (1822–1901) married to the Prussian Major General Hermann von Leslie since October 7, 1842 , and Emmilie von Morstein (1827–1866) married to the since April 13, 1851 Prussian Major General August von Kleist .

From 1818 to 1833 von Morstein was the first district administrator of the Oletzko district, who was in office in Prussia after the new territorial division . He was very concerned about the appearance of the city. He owned an estate in Guty
