Karl Hermann von Somnitz
Karl Hermann von Somnitz (born February 15, 1813 in Freest, Pomerania ; † October 8, 1878 in Charbrow ) was a manorial estate owner, court official and member of parliament.
Life
Karl Hermann von Somnitz was born as the son of the manor owner Friedrich von Somnitz . After graduating from the Ritterakademie Brandenburg he studied at the universities of Bonn and Berlin law . In 1834 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After his legal traineeship, he became the owner of the Charbrow and Speck manors in the Lauenburg i. Pom. From Somnitz was Erbkämmerer of the Duchy of Pomerania and the principality of Pomerania and captain of the Landwehr - Cavalry . He was a long-time member of the Prussian state parliament .
