Karl Ludwig (politician)

Karl Friedrich Ludwig (born March 16, 1923 in Dallau ; † February 23, 1999 in Mosbach ) was a German politician ( FDP / DVP ).

Life

After graduating from primary school and attending a commercial college, Ludwig completed an apprenticeship in banking. From 1941 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier . From 1945 he was managing director of the Raiffeisenkasse in Dallau.

Ludwig joined the FDP and was elected mayor of the community of Dallau in 1954. The community of Dallau dissolved in 1971 and then formed the new community of Elztal with the towns of Neckarburken and Auerbach. From then on, Karl Ludwig was mayor of the newly founded Elztal until 1980. In 1973 the districts of Rittersbach and Muckental also joined the Elztal community. From 1960 to 1964 he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg . In parliament he represented a second mandate for the constituency of Mosbach .

Karl Ludwig was married and had two children.
