Karl Maurer (politician)

Karl Maurer (born April 6, 1831 in Aschaffenburg ; † April 22, 1913 there ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Maurer attended high school in Ansbach and studied law at the University of Erlangen from 1848 to 1852 . Between 1859 and 1863 he was an assessor in Regensburg , later he became a district judge in Ansbach. In 1879 he was finally appointed district judge in Nuremberg , which is why he resigns from his seat in the Reichstag.

From 1878 to 1879 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Middle Franconia 3 (Ansbach- Schwabach - Heilbronn ) and the National Liberal Party . On October 20, 1879, Maurer resigned because of his promotion to district court director.
