Karl Renold

Karl Renold (born August 4, 1888 in Dättwil , † September 4, 1959 in Aarau , entitled to live in Dättwil) was a Swiss politician ( BGB ).

biography

Renold's father was Wilhelm Renold . His brothers were Wilhelm and Ernst Renold .

Renold graduated from the old canton school in Aarau and later studied law in Dijon , Zurich , Bern and Leipzig . After receiving his doctorate, he became an advocate for the canton of Aargau in 1913, and from 1913 to 1914 he worked as a court substitute in Lenzburg . From 1917 to 1925 he was the Aargau State Clerk and from 1925 to 1956 Director of the Aargau Insurance Office.

It was in 1942 in the National Council elected in office year 1951/52 he was the National President . He was a member of the Atomic and Radiation Protection Commission, as well as the Military Commission. From 1953 to 1957 he was president of the farmers, trade and citizens' party . In the Swiss Army he was a colonel and from 1938 to 1944 commander of the Aargau border brigade 5 .
