Career

Heger belonged to the Karlsruher FC Phönix , which from 1912 - through the merger with FC Alemannia - called itself Karlsruher FC Phönix (Phönix-Alemannia) , from 1899 to 1918 as a midfielder . In the championships organized by the Association of South German Football Associations , it was first used in the 1902/03 season in the Württemberg district , and in the 1903/04 season in the Gau Mittelbaden.

From 1904 to 1908 he played within the Südkreis in the Gau Mittelbaden, from 1908 to 1914 in the more competitive and not subdivided into Gaue Südkreis, from which he and his team emerged as champions in 1909 and thus also took part in the finals for the South German Championship . In this, his team prevailed first in front of the other three district champions.
