Karl Sadleder (entomologist)

Karl Sadleder (born July 31, 1838 in Spital am Pyhrn ; † June 9, 1923 ) was an Austrian coleopterologist .

life and career

Karl Sadleder was born on July 31, 1838 in Spital am Pyhrn and mainly operated in his home state Upper Austria . The ZOBODAT lists some collected documents from Sadleder from the turn of the century (19th / 20th century). The coleopterologist Heinz Mitter (* 1945) incorrectly attributes this to the Upper Austrian businessman and politician of the same name . As early as 1895, Sadleder, Karl, appeared to be the house owner. as a full member of the staff of the Upper Austrian Museum Association. After that, he was a full member of the staff several times in the 1900s and 1910s. On June 9, 1923, Karl Sadleder died at the age of 84.
