Karl Schünhoff
Karl Heinrich Wilhelm Schünhoff (born December 29, 1825 in Gilten ; † May 14, 1899 in Harburg ) was a German Lutheran theologian, most recently consistorial councilor and general superintendent of the General Diocese of Harburg .
Life
Schünhoff was a son of the cantor Johann Hinrich Schünhoff in Gilten. He studied theology and first became assistant preacher in Hameln , 1859 pastor in Heemsen , 1867 superintendent in Stolzenau , 1873 superintendent in Neustadt am Rübenberge and in 1881 general superintendent of the General Diocese of Harburg. From July 1, 1885, he was also a clerical member of the consistory in Stade.
Schünhoff's grave is in the old cemetery in Hamburg-Harburg.
