Karl Scheibe (teacher)

Karl Scheibe (also: Heinrich Karl Scheibe and Karl Scheibe-Moringen ; born May 18, 1867 in Hanover ; † 1949 ) was a German teacher and vice-principal as well as the author of local historical writings.

Life

Karl Scheibe was born in Hanover and grew up in the early days of the German Empire . After attending school, he decided to become a teacher in his career choice. He was a "special historian" and became vice principal in a school in Linden near Hanover. Another place of activity was the place Moringen .

Scheibe 's font Deutscher Kriegshumor ... , published with illustrations by W. Giesel & Co. in Hanover during the First World War ... later became part of the World War II collection of the Deutsche Bücherei in Leipzig .

At the time of his employment as Vice Rector during the Weimar Republic (1930), he lived at Haasemannstrasse 6.
