Karl Schwabe (politician)
Karl Bernhart Martin Schwabe (born July 26, 1877 in Drispenstedt , † April 14, 1938 in Sponholz ) was a German landowner and politician ( DNVP ).
Life and work
Karl Schwabe was born in Drispenstedt near Hildesheim . Since 1911 he worked as the owner of a manor. In 1934 he was briefly arrested. Karl Schwabe died in Sponholz near Neubrandenburg .
politics
From 1919 to 1923 Schwabe was a member of the Mecklenburg-Strelitz Landtag for the Economic Association . In 1923 he joined the German National People's Party (DNVP) and served as Minister of State of the Free State of Mecklenburg-Strelitz from August 2, 1923 to February 21, 1928 .
