Karl Streck

Karl Streck (born May 27, 1927 in Munich ; † November 24, 1973 ) was a German actor and director .

After finishing school, Streck became a student at the Mozarteum in Salzburg ; however, this training was interrupted by the Second World War. Streck was a member of the HJ Navy until the end of the war .

In 1946, Streck was able to continue and finish his training at the Munich University of Music and Theater . After a short interlude at a touring stage, Streck was engaged at the Neue Kammerspiele in Bonn in autumn 1947 .

In mid-1948 Streck was signed to the city theater in Essen and from 1950 he was seen at the city ​​theaters in Frankfurt . After a short guest appearance at the Stuttgart State Theater , Streck came to the Luisenburg Festival in Wunsiedel ( Fichtelgebirge ) in 1958 .

Between 1964 and 1967 Streck lived and worked as a director at the Stadttheater in Krefeld ; until 1972 there as an actor. He then retired from the stage and died the following year on November 24, 1973 at the age of 46.
