Karl Wilhelm Fischer (actor)
Karl Wilhelm Fischer (* 1800 in Vienna ; † December 10, 1873 there ) was an Austrian actor .
Life
Born in Vienna in 1800, Karl Wilhelm Fischer originally studied medicine , but soon decided to become an actor. He made his stage debut as a singer and actor at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna, where he mimed Flottwell in the world premiere of Ferdinand Raimund's “ Der Verschwender ” in 1834 . Fischer later worked at the State Theater in Prague , and from 1855 he also worked as a senior director.
Karl Wilhelm Fischer, who was retired in 1865, died in Vienna in 1873.

In leading roles, Karl Wilhelm Fischer embodied Karl Moor , Fiesko , Wilhelm Tell , Othello , Belisarius and Jaromir, among others .
