Karl Wolff (District Administrator)

Karl Richard Wolff (born June 3, 1904 in Münster ; † October 16, 1993 ibid) was a German district administrator .

After attending the Protestant boys' high school in Münster and the Schillergymnasium in Münster , Karl Wolff graduated from high school at Easter 1932 and then studied law in Münster . On December 21, 1925 he was a trainee lawyer at the Hamm Higher Regional Court . Appointed court assessor on June 6, 1929 , after a short time he had to earn a living as an unpaid assessor and legal representative until November 1931. He became an assistant judge at the regional courts of Münster and Essen .

Wolff joined the NSDAP on December 1, 1931 ( membership number 455.701). On June 1, 1933, he took up an informational job with the city of Münster. At the end of July or beginning of August Wolff became office manager at Reichsstatthalter Meyer in Detmold . He was with effect from July 1, 1933 Government and made from August 27, 1939 serving in the German army . After being made indispensable , he was seconded to the Höxter district office on September 27, 1943 . He held the office of the deputy district administrator until 1945, interrupted by his transfer to the upper presidium of Münster in August 1944. In the last days of the war he was drafted back into the German Wehrmacht. In October 1945 he was dismissed from civil service for political reasons . He hired himself as a construction worker and language teacher and also worked as an interpreter for the British occupation . In the denazification process he was classified in category IV (mild case) on August 31, 1948. On May 1, 1953, Wolff was employed by the Münster district government and on January 1, 1954, a judge at the Münster Social Court . On July 1, 1969, he retired .
