Karl von Reichmeister

Karl Friedrich Alexander von Reichmeister (born November 29, 1810 in Osnabrück , † July 22, 1860 in Obornik ) was a Prussian administrative officer and parliamentarian.

Life

Karl von Reichmeister was born as the son of the manorial estate owner and chamberlain of the same name on Winnenthal. After attending grammar school in Bielefeld , he studied at the University of Bonn . In 1831 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After graduating in 1837, he became district administrator of the Obornik district . In 1848 he was a member of the Prussian National Assembly . From 1852 to 1858 he sat in the Prussian House of Representatives .

On June 1, 1856, he married Selma von dem Bussche-Ippenburg (born February 13, 1829), a daughter of District Administrator Julius von dem Bussche-Ippenburg .

Awards

  • The Corps Borussia Bonn made him an honorary member.
