Karlfried Stuke (* 5 September 1933 in frets ; † 11 June 2018 ibid ) was a German football player .

Career

The middle and half forward Stuke began his career at the age of 15 with the Bünder Verein Schwarz-Weiß Ahle . He later moved to SV Ennigloh 09 , with whom he rose in 1952 to the then third-class Landesliga Westfalen . After the direct relegation Stuke moved to VfL Osnabrück , where he was initially used in the amateur team. He later moved up to the contract team, which was in the first-class Oberliga Nord at the time . By 1958 Stuke had completed 79 league games and scored 24 goals. He made his debut on November 21, 1954 in a 2-0 home win against VfB Oldenburg in the Oberliga Nord. Hans Haferkamp scored both goals for VfL, Stuke stormed the right winger and Theo Schönhöft excelled in the round as an 18-time goalscorer. When Osnabrück finished fourth in the 1957/58 season, Stuke had scored five goals in 16 league appearances and ended his league career with a 0-0 home draw on March 9, 1958 against leaders Hamburger SV in front of 20,000 spectators.

In 1956, Stuke was invited by the then national coach Sepp Herberger to a viewing course for the German national team in Malente . After his marriage in 1958, Stuke had himself reamateurised. He returned to SV Ennigloh 09 back and started as a painter independently .
