Karoline Trojer (born August 13, 1984 in Innichen ) is a former Italian ski racer . The South Tyrolean started in all disciplines, finished once among the fastest 30 in the World Cup and achieved three podium places in the European Cup .

Career

Trojer drove her first FIS races in December 1999. The first appearances in the European Cup followed in February 2001, but there she only started regularly from the 2002/03 season . In 2003 she took part in the Junior World Championships in France and achieved eleventh place in the Super-G as the best result. A year later she was less successful and did not get past a 39th place in the giant slalom at the 2004 Junior World Championships .

In the World Cup started Trojer first time on 24 January 2004 in the giant slalom in Maribor . Until the 2007/08 season, however, it was only used in a total of five World Cup races and never reached the points. In the European Cup she reached the podium for the first time on December 14, 2005 with third place in the giant slalom in Alleghe , on January 24, 2006 she came second in the Super-G in Megève . In the 2008/09 World Cup season , the Italian took part in a total of five races and took her first and only World Cup points on February 20 with 26th place in the Super Combined in Tarvisio . Four days later she reached her third podium in the European Cup, also in a super combination in Tarvisio. Overall, the sport soldier reached sixth place overall in the 2008/09 European Cup season . Trojer drove her last race at the end of March 2009 at the Italian championships.
