Karsten Küsters
Karsten Küsters (born December 24, 1943 in Klosterheide / Neuruppin) is a German opera singer with a bass voice .
After school, Küsters completed a craft apprenticeship, which he completed with a national winner (apprentice) and a master craftsman's certificate as a furrier . From 1965 to 1969 he studied singing at the Nuremberg Conservatory with Hilde Scheppan and Willi Domgraf-Fassbaender . After the stage entrance examination in 1969, he went to the Trier Theater and in 1970 he moved to the Bremen Theater . 1970 Marriage to Regina Küsters b. Chop. Other studies, he interrupted his Bremer commitment and went to the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi of Milan and at the Liceo Musicale "GBViotti" of Vercelli toRosetta Noli . In 1985 he was appointed chamber singer . In 1986 he was awarded the Volksbühne Bremen's audience award, the “Silver Roland”. and in 2008 Karsten Küsters was made an honorary member of the Bremen Theater. The Bremen Senate Medal for Art a. He received science in 2008.
His repertoire as a bass buffo , play bass etc. Serious bass includes over 160 parts of the common parts from operettas, musicals and operas up to demanding tasks in contemporary musical theater works, including 10 world premieres. Küsters is married to Hannelore Küsters geb. Supper and lives in Berlin-Köpenick.
