Karsten Küsters (born December 24, 1943 in Klosterheide / Neuruppin) is a German opera singer with a bass voice .

After school, Küsters completed a craft apprenticeship, which he completed with a national winner (apprentice) and a master craftsman's certificate as a furrier . From 1965 to 1969 he studied singing at the Nuremberg Conservatory with Hilde Scheppan and Willi Domgraf-Fassbaender .
