history

The village was a manor in earlier times. In 1412 Alberstorp or Voget Albersdorp was acquired by the Pomeranian Duke Swantibor III. transferred to the Jasenitz monastery , and the governor Johann Clinte had to instruct the monastery in the estate. Albrechtsdorf had been a fief of the Bröcker family for almost half a millennium . It was sold in 1766 by the Prussian Minister of War Carl Heinrich von Wedel (1712–1782) to Gotthilf Christian von Enckefort . Around 1775 there was a tavern, a schoolmaster, 19 fireplaces and a chapel in Albrechtsdorf. Around 1865 there were 12 residential buildings, a schoolhouse, a steam mill, a smithy, an inn and 129 residents, who were distributed among 23 families, in Albrechtsdorf. Around 1869 the estate was owned by the district deputy Eduard Friedrich von Enckefort.

At the beginning of the 1930s, Albrechtsdorf was part of the town of Neuwarp in the Ueckermünde district in the Stettin administrative district in the Pomeranian province . The responsible district office was in Ueckermünde.

After the Second World War , the town of Neuwarp and its Albrechtsdorf district, together with the so-called Stettiner Zipfel of Western Pomerania, were placed under Polish administration. Albrechtsdorf was renamed Karszno . The residents of the district were evicted and replaced by Poles.

The population present in Albrechtsdorf before 1945 was predominantly of the Protestant denomination. The Protestants from Albrechtsdorf belonged to the Protestant parish Neuwarp, the Catholics to the Catholic parish Hoppenwalde.

The Protestant parish had its own chapel in Albrechtsdorf.
