Kasper Lorentzen

Kasper Wellemberg Lorentzen (born November 19, 1985 in Hvidovre , Denmark ) is a Danish football player who has played for FC Nordsjælland since 2012 .

Career in youth

Kasper Lorentzen started playing football at Rosenhøj BK . Then he went to the youth of the first division Brøndby IF .

Brøndby IF

National team

On November 21, 2000 Kasper Lorentzen made his first appearance in the jersey of the Danish U-16s. Lorentzen was in the starting eleven in the 2: 3 against his peers from Ireland. He made his last international match on February 27, 2001, when he was also in the starting line-up in the 1-0 win against Portugal. Kasper Lorentzen can look back on five missions in the U-16.

On August 1, 2001, Kasper Lorentzen came for the first time for the U-17 selection of the Danes when he was used in the 2-0 win against the U-17 selection from Sweden. He scored his first goal for the U-17s on September 5, 2001, when he made it 1-0 in a 3-2 win over the Czech Republic. With the U-17 he took part in the 2002 U-17 European Football Championship . The Danes failed there, on May 4, 2002, in the quarter-finals, after penalties, to Spain. The quarter-final game against Spain was also Lorentzen's last game for the U-17s. On February 25, 2003 Lorentzen played for the U-19 of the Scandinavians for the first time. Lorentzen started against Belgium. Lorentzen was also used in qualifying for the U-19 European Football Championship in 2003 . However, the qualification did not succeed. They also took part in qualifying for the 2004 U-19 European Football Championship . However, the qualification did not succeed this time either. Lorentzen made his last game for the U-19s on May 2, 2004, in the qualifier against Slovenia. He came to a total of 14 missions.

On the same day, just a month later, Lorentzen ran for the U-20 for the first time. In the 3-1 win against Russia, Lorentzen was replaced in the 79th minute for Jakob Poulsen . Just two days later, also against Russia, Lorentzen scored his first goal for the U-20s. Lorentzen made his last game for the U-20s on July 21, 2004, when they played 0-0 against Turkey. There were four missions in total.

On September 3, 2004, Lorentzen was also used for the first time for the Danish U-21 . In the 3-2 win in qualifying for the U-21 European Football Championship in 2006 against the Ukraine, Lorentzen was immediately in the starting eleven and was replaced by Jacob Sørensen after 66 minutes . Lorentzen was also used in the rest of the qualification. The qualification could be achieved. Lorentzen was not nominated for the tournament itself. He was also there in qualifying for the U-21 European Football Championship in 2007 . However, the qualification was missed. The last qualifying game on September 5, 2006, against their peers from Sweden, was Lorentzen's last game for the U-21s. There were a total of 13 missions.

On August 11, 2010 Lorentzen finally came for the first time for the senior national team of Denmark . In the 2-2 draw against Germany , Lorentzen came on for William Kvist in the 67th minute .
