The Kastelberg is a mountain on the border between Alsace and Lorraine and the departments of Vosges and Haut-Rhin in the region Grand Est in France . At 1350  m , it is the fourth highest peak in the Vosges .

The Route des Crêtes runs past the west side, and the Ferme Auberge Breitsouzen is located below the summit . A double ski lift belonging to the La Bresse - Hohneck ski area leads up from the west and crosses the Route des Crêtes , which is closed in winter . In an easterly direction, the Kastelberg drops steeply, and the frequent westerly winds can form snow canopy here in winter .
