Katarina Lavtar (born March 23, 1988 ) is a Slovenian ski racer.

Career

Lavtar contested her first FIS races from the winter of 2003/04 . In April 2009 she became the Slovenian junior champion in giant slalom .

Since the 2007/08 season she has competed regularly in the European Cup, where she has specialized in the technical disciplines of slalom and giant slalom. The best place in March 2013 was a seventh place in Andalo Paganella's giant slalom .

In March 2009 she competed in her first World Cup race in Ofterschwang . It took four and a half years until she achieved her first World Cup points with 29th place at the 2013 World Cup kick-off in Sölden .

In 2013 she was a member of the Slovenian national team at the Alpine World Ski Championships in Schladming and achieved 27th place in the slalom.
