Disaster in the Black Hole (Original Title: Doomwatch: Winter Angel ) is a British science fiction film from 1999 . The television film was directed by Roy Battersby and is a sequel to the popular British 1970s series Doomwatch .

A number of strange things happen on an old factory site in the north of England. Astrophysicist Neil Tannahill and his environmental activist group Doomwatch are investigating the matter. During their research, they make a terrible discovery: Scientists have created a black hole that the Pandora company uses to get rid of illegal nuclear waste. When the black hole suddenly gets out of hand, Tannahill and his group try everything to save the earth from a catastrophe.
