Wolf Kahler

Wolf Kahler (born April 3, 1940 in Kiel ) is a German actor .

Career

Wolf Kahler lives in London and has worked in many productions since 1975. Due to his height of 1.93 m and his angular, German appearance, Kahler is often restricted to certain roles. He mostly plays German soldiers or other German "bad guys". His best known role was that of Colonel Dietrich in the Indiana Jones film Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). Alongside Harrison Ford , he appeared in the 1978 film The Wild Pile of Navarone .

Thanks to his distinctive voice, Kahler is also in demand as a speaker in computer games . For example, he spoke to Dr. Breen in the first person shooter Half-Life 2 .
