Katelyn Pippy (born April 12, 1993 in Moon Township , Pennsylvania ) is an American actress , best known for her role as Emmalin Holden in the television series Army Wives .

life and career

Katelyn Pippy is the daughter of former state senator from Pennsylvania , John Pippy , and his wife Katherine.

Katelyn Pippy had her first television appearance in 2005 at the age of twelve in an episode of the television series Monk . A year later, she appeared in Hotel Zack & Cody , before taking on the role of Emmalin Holden in the television series Army Wives in 2008 with the beginning of the second season. There she plays the daughter of Kim Delaney's character. In 2007 she had a supporting role in the film RL Stine's - And Again The Witching Hour: The Monster I Called , which is based on the children's book of the same name by RL Stine , alongside Emily Osment , Cody Linley , Brittany Curran and Tobin Bell .

Pippy graduated from Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Pittsburgh . She attended Cornell University from 2011 to 2015 .
