The facade is a Renaissance design by Julián Sánchez Bort, inspired by a design by Ventura Rodríguez for the Pamplona Cathedral . The construction was completed at the end of the 19th century with the completion of the two side towers.

The narthex of the northern entrance was built in Gothic style between 1510 and 1530. The ceiling was designed as a star vault and consists of three archivolts with a lintel showing Christ Pantocrator and a pinjante showing a representation of the Last Supper.

To the right of the entrance is the Gothic bell tower, surmounted by a Renaissance attic, completed in 1580 by Gaspar de Arce . The sacristy (1678) and the cloister (1714) are in the Baroque style like the central chapel of the triforium (1726). The chapel of St. Froilán is in the Renaissance style from the 17th century. The choir, which was built by Francisco de Moure in the early 17th century, is remarkable .
