Kathi Arndt (* Herne-Wanne ) is a singer of Christian pop music .

life and work

Katharina Arndt received her vocal training at the Folkwang Music School in Essen. In 1990 she began working with Christian music producers such as Johannes Nitsch , Jochen Rieger and Helmut Jost . In the following years she worked as a soloist and choir singer in various concepts such as Living Psalms and Encounters . She toured Germany with the choir Christians At Work and the band Moments . She also performed with her own band Arndt Around in the late 1990s . In 1993 Arndt performed with Billy Graham in the Grugahalle in Essen as part of the ProChrist evangelization .

Kathi Arndt also played and sang in the musical radio play series Christopher Kirchenmaus by Helmut Jost and Gertrud Schmalenbach . In addition, from 1992 she produced the adventure radio plays about Sam & Sarah , for which she wrote the radio play adaptation of Ruth N. Moore's books and spoke the role of the narrator.

From 1999 to 2001 she worked in the Italian show band La Nuova Generazione . In 2004 she founded the band What Else ?! with her husband, the jazz composer Volker Müsch, and two other soloists from Christians at Work , Frauke Schaufelberger and Eva-Marie Strack . . In 2012 she worked with artist friends such as Yasmina Hunzinger and Uta and Mark Wiederssprecher on the Carl Ellis and Friends project .

In addition to her work as a studio and live singer, Kathi Arndt also works as a vocal coach . She is married to Volker Müsch and lives in Schwerte .
