The Catholic rectory in Absberg , a market town in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen , was built in 1729/30. The rectory at Marktplatz 3 is a protected architectural monument .

The Land Commander of the Teutonic Order, Karl Heinrich von Hornstein , had the Catholic parsonage built next to the Protestant Christ Church , which was used by the Catholics at the time. The Hornstein coat of arms is embedded below the dwelling.

The two-storey hipped roof building with a dwelling , corner pilaster strips and floor structure was built by Franz Joseph Roth . The building has five to four window axes .

The partially preserved garden fence was built in 18/19. Century.
