Kathrin Spoerr

Kathrin Spoerr (* 1965 in Kühlungsborn ) is a German journalist and writer .

Life

Spoerr grew up in Rostock and after graduating from high school in 1984 applied for an exit visa . She then studied economics in Heidelberg and later did her doctorate in law at the University of Potsdam .

In 1995 Spoerr was a guest editor for Russian German newspapers in Slavgorod ( Western Siberia ) and Saint Petersburg . From 1997 she worked as a volunteer at Tagesspiegel . She has been working as an editor for the daily newspaper Die Welt since 2000 .

Spoerr is single, has two daughters and lives with her partner in Berlin .
