Kati Jo Spisak (born November 22, 1983 ) is an American football player and coach.

Career

Player

Spisak played from 2007 to 2009 in 20 league games for the franchise of the Washington Freedom , of which 17 in the W-League and three games in the first season of the WPS . She spent the 2010 and 2011 seasons with WPS rivals Saint Louis Athletica and Boston Breakers , but without making any competitive appearances there. From the 2014 season she was used sporadically as a substitute goalkeeper of the NWSL franchise Washington Spirit , but remained without league use.

Spisak was part of the US junior national teams in the U-21 and U-23 age groups and successfully took part in the Nordic Cup with the former in 2004 .

For the 2014 season of the National Women's Soccer League , she joined the Washington Spirit coaching team with head coach Mark Parsons . From the 2015 season, she also took over the coaching position of the Spirit reserve team in the W-League , with which she won the championship final straight away.
