Katie Aselton
Kathryn "Katie" Aselton (born October 1, 1978 in Milbridge , Maine ) is an American actress and director .
Life
Aselton grew up in the US state of Maine . She took part in various beauty pageants while she was still in high school. In 1995 she was elected Miss Maine Teen USA and was able to take part in the Miss Teen USA competition, in which she reached second place. In 1996 she graduated from Narraguagus High School in Harrington. She then studied at Boston University for two years before moving to Los Angeles to become an actress. After a year in Los Angeles, she attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York for two years .
Aselton is married to her The League co-star , Mark Duplass . The couple have two daughters.
