Mark Duplass
Mark David Duplass (born December 7, 1976 in New Orleans , Louisiana ) is an American actor , director , screenwriter , film producer and musician . He often realizes his film projects in collaboration with his brother Jay Duplass . The brothers are considered to be important representatives of Mumblecore , although they are critical of this categorization.
Life and career
Mark Duplass was born in New Orleans in 1976 to Cindy and Larry Duplass.
Mark and Jay Duplass implemented their own film projects from the mid-2000s. Her feature film debut was the road movie The Puffy Chair , released in 2005 , for which both wrote, directed and produced and in which Mark Duplass also appeared as an actor.
This was followed by the films Baghead (2008), Cyrus (2010), Jeff Who Still Lives at Home (2011) and The Do Deca Pentathlon (2012).
Since 2002 he has also been the lead singer of the band Volcano, I'm Still Excited !! active.
Duplass is married to director and actress Katie Aselton . The couple have two children together.
