She Dies Tomorrow is a thriller by Amy Seimetz that hit selected US cinemas on July 31, 2020 and was released as video-on-demand by Neon on August 7, 2020.

Amy firmly believes that she will die the next day. When she tries to explain this to her friend Jane, a scientist, she tries to dissuade her from this absurd thought. But Amy's fear of imminent death is passed on to Jane. Jane shows up in pajamas at her sister-in-law Susan's birthday party and tells her brother Jason and two guests present of her fear of dying, which seems to infect everyone else.

The main role of Amy was cast with Kate Lyn Sheil . Jane Adams plays Amy's friend Jane, a scientist. Katie Aselton plays her sister-in-law Susan, Chris Messina her brother Jason and Jennifer Kim and Tunde Adebimpe the two party guests Tilly and Brian.
The first trailer was presented at the beginning of July 2020. The film was released in selected US theaters on July 31, 2020. On August 7, 2020, it was released by Neon as video-on-demand. On the same day, Milan Records released the soundtrack album with a total of nine pieces of music by the Mondo Boys as a download.

Roger Ebert critic Sheila O'Malley writes She Dies Tomorrow, jumping back and forth in time without warning, jumping from night to day and back, and while this technique is unnecessarily distracting at times, it adds to the feeling of disintegration when everything collapses: norms, linear time and relationships. The characters in the film did not experience their apparently last day of life as a collective experience, they did not move together to comfort each other, rather isolation was the result of infection: "When you face death, you face it alone."
Bilge Ebiri remarks in Vulture that it is remarkable that Amy Seimetz somehow managed to create something that exactly captured the lifestyle of these days , since she had no idea when her film would be released. She compares She Dies Tomorrow to trying to remake David Lynch's Contagion . What makes the film so scary and so unforgettable is not the portrayal of a viral phenomenon, as can be observed at the moment, but the all-powerful feeling of finality that lasts forever, says Ebiri and sums up: “ She Dies Tomorrow is one of the scariest films I've seen in a long time. "
