reception

criticism

TV feature films' criticism was rather negative: “Apart from the usual kitsch, the amorous errors even end with a slight surprise. Leslie Malton as Lynne's spirited sister gives the drama a little pep. ”Conclusion:“ Harmless: in the end everything is in the right place ”

Tilmann P. Gangloff from Tittelbach.tv also had a few objections, but came to the conclusion: “Otherwise, 'Katie Fforde - The Silence of Men' fulfills more than just the usual expectations: the actors are convincing, the locations appealing, the pictures very telegenic; and finally the story still has a surprise to offer. "

Audience rating

The first broadcast on ZDF was watched by a total of 4.49 million people, which corresponded to a market share of 12.6% of the total audience. For younger people between 14 and 49 years of age it was a 4.8% market share.
