Katja Schönherr

Katja Schönherr (* 1982 in Marienberg ) is a German writer and journalist . She lives near Zurich .

Life and work

Schönherr grew up in Dresden . At the University of Leipzig she studied cultural studies and journalism and at the Bern University of the Arts she earned a master's degree in literary writing. After an internship at the Rheinische Post in Düsseldorf , she worked as a freelance writer a. a. for the NZZ am Sonntag . In 2019 she made her debut with the "anti-romance novel" Marta and Arthur . Invited by Philipp Tingler , she read in 2020 at the 44th Days of German-Language Literature .
