Katrin Unterreiner

Katrin Unterreiner (* 1969 in Graz ) is an Austrian art historian , curator and author .

Life

Katrin Unterreiner studied art history and then history at the University of Vienna , graduating in 1997 with a master's degree.

Subsequently, she was the scientific director of the Schönbrunn Palace cultural and operating company and, until 2007, of the Imperial Apartments of the Vienna Hofburg and curator of the Sisi Museum , which opened in 2004, in the Vienna Hofburg. In 2008 she curated the exhibition The Habsburgs - People, Myths, Monarchs at the Upper Austrian State Exhibition in Bad Ischl . From 2013 to 2016 she was in charge of the Plachutta Imperial House Collection .

Her brother is the opera singer Clemens Unterreiner .
